Turmeric paste — the sacred Halad — applied by family members to both bride and groom. It purifies, protects, and bestows the golden glow before the wedding day arrives.
The eternal Saptapadi — seven steps, seven vows, before Agni the sacred fire. The Mangalsutra is tied, sindoor applied. Two souls become one under the blessings of Ganesh and Lakshmi.
The Wada courtyard fills with music, laughter, and a traditional Maharashtrian feast. Puranpoli, Modak, and fine cuisine. Live Dhol-Tasha ensemble fills the night air.
